The Houston Independent School District’s Multilingual Programs Department is hosting “A Roadmap to Success: Connecting Schools, Parents and the Community” virtual event on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Parents, families, and communities will have the opportunity to hear and learn about the multiple stops of a roadmap to success for emergent bilingual students. Each stop will explain its importance and critical role in the student’s pathway to academic achievement.

The event is free to everyone, and registration is open now. The first 200 participants to register and attend will receive a gift card.

All attendees will receive resources to implement the tactics learned.
