HISD will host a Military Career Day for high school seniors on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Delmar Fieldhouse (2020 Mangum Road, 77092).

After January’s successful inaugural event for high school juniors, the District is looking to help guide soon-to-be graduates who are interested in military service. Seniors and their families will learn about the educational benefits, financial incentives, and diverse career options for both officers and enlisted personnel, including a wide range of roles, technologies, and experiences offered within the Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces offer careers in every field including engineering; medicine; accounting; computer programming; and more.

All HISD seniors and their parents are invited to attend the free event. Lunch will be provided for students who register in advance, and transportation will be available from high school campuses. Students should check with their school to sign up for transportation.
