Got health insurance? If not, attend a weekly enrollment event

If your family still hasn’t selected health insurance for 2016, don’t despair.

HISD’s Health and Medical Services Department, in partnership with the City of Houston Health and Human Services Department and the Health Insurance Marketplace SRA, will be hosting events every weekend throughout the month of January in an effort to help families meet the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and enroll in the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)/Children’s Medicaid.

The events will be held in different areas of the city at various Multi–Service Centers, and navigators will be on-site for application assistance.

The next event will take place on Friday, Jan. 22, at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center (3810 W. Fuqua, 77045) from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Please see the attached flyer (.pdf) for details and additional dates.
