Join us in the cafeteria for a side order of entertainment through May 22

For the next eight months, employees and visitors who come to the Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center cafeteria for lunch can stay for a side order of entertainment!

Fine Arts Fridays, which showcase the creative talents of students in the district’s performing arts programs, have been scheduled at the district’s headquarters through the end of May between the hours of noon and 12:30 p.m.

Henry Middle School kicked off the return of Fine Arts Fridays on Oct. 17, with a performance by its guitar ensemble. Additional performances before the winter break will feature:

• Oct. 24—Waltrip HS
• Oct. 31—Key MS
• Nov. 7—Field ES
• Nov. 14—Crespo ES
• Dec. 12—Johnston MS
• Dec. 19—Marshall MS

While you’re at the district’s headquarters, be sure to take a few minutes to look at the visual artworks on display throughout the building. Pieces are exhibited along the hallways of every floor.
