Three Houston ISD seniors each have $2,000 scholarships to put toward college thanks to the Positive Coaching Alliance.
Karoline Hight (swimming) of Bellaire HS, Aaron Reese (football) of Kashmere HS and Tre’Shunda James (volleyball) of Carnegie Vanguard HS received Triple-Impact Competitors scholarships at a banquet held on Oct. 18.
The students went through an application process to be considered for the scholarship. The coaches selected the winners based on the triple goal traits of self (working hard to make themselves better by pursuing personal mastery), teammates (leading to make those around them better) and the game (honoring the game to make the game itself better).
