October is National Principals Month, and at HISD we all are honored to celebrate our district principals in many ways.

This month, HISD is encouraging students, parents, staff, and community members to honor and thank district principals by printing one of our custom e-cards, which are downloadable here. You can include a message to give to your school leader, display on your campus, and post on social media.

We will also be showcasing a few of our principals throughout the month on social media and at HoustonISD.org. Starting Monday, Oct. 4, every campus will take part in a “Spirit Week” to honor our principals. Please be sure to tag @HoustonISD on social media.

Spirit Week Schedule

💪 Monday, Oct. 4–Monday Motivation: Share a short video or picture on how your principal motivates you to be the best version of yourself. 🏈 Tuesday, Oct. 5–Touchdown Tuesday: Wear your favorite sports jersey and share a message on how your principal has helped you score a “touchdown” in school. 😍 Wednesday, Oct.6–We Love our Principal Wednesday: Share a picture of you with your principal. 👍 Thursday, Oct. 7–Thumbs Up Thursday: Share a moment when you give a “thumbs up” thanks to your principal. 👾 Friday, Oct.8–Flashback Friday: Share your favorite memories of your principal.
