Michelle Lewis has been selected as the new principal of Wainwright Elementary School.

Lewis has been an educator for 22 years and has served in various roles including classroom teacher, reading specialist, assistant principal, instructional coach, and head principal. Her career started in St. Louis, Missouri and led her to work in Austin, Dallas, and Oklahoma City. Since 2019, she has served as a transformational principal at Thelma R. Parks Elementary School in Oklahoma City. 

Lewis earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Missouri and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Central Oklahoma.
