Longfellow ES students reveal top toys for the holidays

Longfellow Elementary School has brought back a decade-long favorite holiday tradition. For the first time since before the pandemic, the school hosted media for the 11th Annual HISD Toy Survey.

In the weeks leading up to the event, a group of students surveyed their classmates to determine the most popular gifts kids would like to receive for the holidays. In a mid-morning press conference, the students announced the top five toys for each grade level. The goal of the survey is to help give parents and relatives an idea of what to buy before they do their holiday shopping.
