The gymnasium was decorated with traditional Indian items and clay lamps crafted by students. Staff and students decorated their hands with Mehndi designs and enjoyed Indian food for lunch.

About 80 students in grades K-8 performed a Bollywood dance medley, and the school’s principal and staff danced to the song “Nagada Dhol Bhaje.”
