Four Houston Independent School District varsity football games planned for this weekend are being rescheduled as a result of schedule conflicts caused by the recent storm. The schedule conflicts were created when two games on Saturday, Oct. 24 — Yates vs. Davis and Washington vs. Wheatley — had to be moved to Monday, Oct. 26 because of inclement weather. According to UIL rules, teams can’t play more than one game within five calendar days. As a result, three games originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30 are being moved to Saturday, Oct. 31. Another game planned for Saturday, Oct. 31 is being moved to Friday, Oct. 30 to accommodate the changes. The new weekend schedule is below.
|Austin vs. Waltrip||Barnett Stadium||Friday, Oct. 30, 2015||7 p.m.|
|Navasota vs. Wheatley||Navasota Stadium||Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015||1 p.m.|
|Yates vs. Sharpstown||Barnett Stadium||Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015||1 p.m.|
|North Forest vs. Davis||Cowart Stadium||Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015||1 p.m.|
