Sean Tellez has been selected as the new principal of Love Elementary School.

Tellez has served as teacher and department chair at the High School for Law and Justice, and for the last five years he has been an assistant principal at Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Tellez oversaw the expansion of the College Board AP Program at Kinder HSPVA, the redesign and implementation of new professional learning communities, and the development and creation of a campus-wide diversity series and programming.

Tellez is a native Houstonian and earned both his bachelor’s degree in Composite Social Studies and Master of Arts in Teaching at Trinity University.
