The Houston Independent School District’s 2016 Winter Holiday schedule is as follows:
Students will be on winter break from school starting on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, through Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017. Students will return to school on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017.
HISD central and administrative offices will be closed beginning Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, and will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017.
Employees with questions should consult the duty schedules posted here.
The HISD Police Department will be patrolling district facilities during the holiday break. Emergencies should be reported by calling 713-892-7777.
