Angela Stephens has been selected as the new principal of Foster Elementary School.

Previously the assistant principal of Kashmere Gardens Elementary, Stephens has also served in the capacity of a teacher specialist and literacy coach in Spring and the dean of academics at National Heritage Academies. When employed with Choice Schools, she was the founding principal of Macomb Montessori Academy.

Stephens earned her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Resources and Society at Michigan State University and her Masters in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership from Marygrove College.
