Dr. Federico Hernandez has been selected as the new principal for Middle College High School at HCC Felix Fraga.

Hernandez is a proud product of HISD schools and has served as a mathematics teacher and assistant principal in HISD and Aldine ISD. He was most recently the associate principal at Sam Houston MSTC. Hernandez completed the Rice University Executive Leadership Academy, which is a program offered by Rice Business Executive Education in collaboration with Leadership Partners.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s and a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Mathematics Education from the University of Houston.
