Superintendent House to deliver his first State of the Schools address

The Houston Independent School District Foundation’s annual State of the Schools will be in person this year and focus on the road ahead for the district with a new superintendent at the helm. The event will take place Friday, March 11, from 11:40 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis Houston.

HISD announces selection of Chief Engagement Officer

Houston ISD announced the selection of its Chief Engagement Officer, Max Moll. Moll will lead a department that includes communications, board services, family and community engagement, government relations, and community partnerships, along with HISD’s Parent Center.

HISD campuses, offices to close Jan. 17-18
