Students in the Baylor College of Medicine Biotech Academy at Rusk (BCMBAR) HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) chapter competed at the 2022 HOSA Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference and won high awards. During the conference that took place June 22-26 in Nashville, Tennessee, 30 students from the BCMBAR HOSA chapter competed against more than 10,000 students from around the world in a variety of medically themed topics.

The Baylor College of Medicine Biotech Academy at Rusk (BCMBAR) HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) chapter recently competed at the 2022 Texas HOSA- Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference in Galveston, Texas. After two years of virtual conferences, students represented their school in person and competed in events related to healthcare, such as medical art, medical math, and presentations on careers and innovation in medicine.
