HISD parents and caregivers asked to complete Student Annual Verification

As we begin the 2022-2023 school year, all HISD parents and caregivers must complete the Student Annual Verification to ensure student information is accurate and up to date. The Student Annual Verification is now available on the HISD Connect Parent Portal and must be completed by Friday, October 28.

HISD Trustees unanimously approve $2.2 billion budget and highly competitive teacher pay raises

The Houston Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved adopting a $2.2 billion budget for the 2022-2023 school year that includes an average raise of 11% for teachers. That will bump the starting salary to $61,500.
