HISD thanks the more than 110,000 parents, students, teachers and administrators who submitted responses to the annual Your Voice district survey this year.
Although mailed results are still being tallied by RDA Group, more than 4,000 parents took the survey online, answering questions about their perceptions of rigor, consistency and safety in HISD.
Complete results of the Your Voice survey are expected to be available online by July 11. Principals and other campus decision-makers will use these survey results to help guide campus improvement plans.
Once again, thank you to all who submitted survey results. With your support and participation, we can make changes that will impact the educational future of Houston’s children.
The average Houston Independent School District campus earned a grade of B- after results were tabulated for the most comprehensive stakeholder satisfaction survey in HISD history.
Last week marked the conclusion of the “Your Voice” survey, the largest customer satisfaction survey in HISD history, and by Friday, May 31, more than 88,000 students, parents, teachers, campus administrators and community members had completed it.
Almost 3,500 parents took the survey online, answering questions about their perceptions of rigor, consistency and safety in HISD.
Who: The May 2013 edition of HISD Up Close hosted by HISD Board of Education President Anna Eastman features an interview with fellow trustee Manuel Rodriguez Jr. on the importance of the district’s customer satisfaction survey called Your Voice. All HISD parents, principals and teachers are encouraged to complete and return the survey by May 20. Students will fill out the questionnaire during the school day from May 20-31. The survey is the largest of its kind in the history of the district and is being conducted by an outside company to assure confidentiality.
